iCONTACT, IRIGA CITY’S CONTACT TRACING APP


GUIDELINES AND PROCEDURES


Registration of Individuals:

  1. All individuals entering any business establishments, public and private, should register online or thru the registration booth(s) provided by the City Government of Iriga.
  2. Online Registration of individuals can be done by visiting the official website of iContact at https://irigatechnohub.com/icontact/resident.
  3. On the registration form, the individual's full name, mobile number, permanent address and current address are required. This is in accordance with Department of Trade and Industry Memorandum Circular No. 44 and 57 on the guidelines of establishments for contact tracing procedures.
  4. Other information such as gender, birthday and email address are optional.
  5. Upon submission of an individual’s registration, options will be given to the person who will register an account for iContact.
    1. Option 1
      1. You will register to iContact, generate an iContact Account that will require you to create a unique username and password and your iContact ID with QR code will be generated.
    2. Option 2;
      1. Register your iContact and generate ID without the need of creating a password and username.
  6. If Option 1 is chosen, it will allow the user to create his/her username and password that will give the user the full capacity to use the iContact App that is installed to his/her Android Phone. The full capacity of the iContact app are as follows;
    1. Scanning of individuals QR Code for Contact Tracing Purposes
    2. Capacity to have FREE Doctors consultation, online query and report any violations of IATF Resolutions to the Incident Management Team.
  7. If Option 2 is chosen, it will generate a QR Code for the user but it will not be able to have access to the full capacity of iContact App stated above.
  8. In addition, if a person preferred to choose option 2, in case of loss of QR Code ID the individual should not create a new account. The iContact Account User should visit the Public Information Office for him/her to regenerate his/her QR Code. Proof of identity is required upon request of regeneration of his/her QR Code ID such as valid government ID.
  9. Deletion of iContact Account can be done by visiting the Public Information Office and via completion of Deletion of iContact Account Form. Individual must present a valid government ID as proof of his/her identity.
  10. If an individual who choses Option 2 and wanted to use the full capacity of the iContact App in the future. The person should visit the Public Information Office for activation of his/her account for the use of the iContact App full capacity. Proof of identity is required upon request such as valid government ID.
  11. Upon generation of QR Code ID, it is advised to screen save the QR Code ID to the individuals’ mobile phone or have it printed in the individuals/user own cost and make sure that the QR Code will remain confidential.

Registration of Business Establishment, Public and Private Offices:

  1. Any merchant, public and private offices can register on iContact online thru https://irigatechnohub.com/icontact/resident or by visiting the Public Information Office.
  2. Upon registration the iContact Form will require the following fields;
    1. Business Name
    2. Mobile Number
    3. Business Address
    4. Username
    5. Password
    6. Authorization Clause
  3. If the account is successfully created the user may now login to the iContact App.
  4. Deletion of iContact Account for merchant, public and private offices can be done by visiting the Public Information Office and via completion of Deletion of iContact Account Form. A photocopy of a valid business permit and a valid ID of the owner of the business or in case of public and private offices the valid ID of the manager, supervisor or anyone who has the authority on office.

How to download the App?

  1. Download the app via https://irigatechnohub.com/icontact/.
  2. Install the app after download.
  3. Login using the username and password that the user created.

Scanning of QR Code

  1. Scanning of QR code should be done on all Business Establishments, Public and PrivateOffices upon entry and exit of any individual.
  2. All scanned QR Code will send information to the iContact Server. The following information will be stored in every scan such as;
    1. Name of the individual
    2. Business Establishment, Public and Private Offices he/she enters/exit
    3. Date and time of entry/exit
  3. All the information that was sent thru scanning of individuals QR Code will be automatically and permanently deleted after 30 days.

Pull-out of Data for Contact Tracing

  1. Pull-out of Data can just be done in the purpose of contact tracing team per written request by the contact tracing team’s Team Leader, Supervisor or the City Mayor.
  2. Only the information needed for contact tracing will be sent to the contact tracing team such as;
    1. Person who had close-contact with anyone suspected, confirmed or probable positive of Covid-19.
    2. Information such as;
      1. Name of the individual
      2. Business Establishment, Public and Private Offices he/she enters/exit
      3. Date and time of entry/exit
  3. Only the authorized person of the City Mayor has an access to pull-out information on the database of iContact.
